    Hey guys, First post!
But anyways, i have a 89 DX HB, and I just got my Wings West kit, Putting it on this weekend, so pumped smile
anyways, Im goona have to lower it, cuz itll look stupid if i dont, there is about a 2 and a quarter inch clearence from rim to wheel well,
BUT NAYWAYS! my real problem, when i lower it, my tires (205 toyos) and rims (16' enkies) stick OUTSIDE the wheel well!, now i can drop it about 2 inches, BUT that means i have a 1/4 a inch clearence from wheel well?
im scared smile heh, and not sure what i should do, !!! HELP!

I dont know if there really is anything you can do frown your rims have a poor offset...short of getting new wheels or getting really stiff springs, there isnt much you can do...sorry frown

i have to agree...it's your offset. i'm rollin' 205 40 16's (Enkei's smile ) and they tuck nicely. rather than lowering springs, you should get some coilovers. then you can find the lowest you can go without tire rub.

    just a suggestion

offset determines where the wheel sits relative to the wheel well....I think its the measurement from the face of the hub to the outside lip...but I'm not sure. the only way to alter it is to have a machine shop mill a bit off the hub, but I dont know exactly how safe this is...go to some sites and look for your wheels and see what the offset is...
